Exploring how students reason through math and assist them in applying strategies that will help them with mental math techniques. Participants will complete one section of the online Math Reasoning Inventory (geared more for 5th-8th graders). The information is valuable for teachers to be aware of what THEY know in order to help their students with mental math strategies and mathematical reasoning practices. **Don’t worry, you won’t have to share your results!** This will be used to jump start our discussion, then follow thru with various online and app based activities and games in stations. You will need an iPad or computer that can access the internet (we will also have a few paper versions for anyone missing technology).
